Attending Church During COVID-19

#1.  IS IT A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR MY CHILD?

a.  HWC is following the provincial guidelines for daycares
b. Max 8 children per room
c.  No food or drinks will be prepared or distributed by our team (for now) 

d) Sanitize each room before and after every service

e) Children are socially distanced

#2.  WHAT HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY HWC?

We are very fortunate to have a number of health care professionals in our congregation 

a.  We have a hospital Covid 19 area supervisor who is overseeing our process during this time 

b. The building will be throughly cleaned before, during and after service

c.  All seating will be socially distanced with exception of people who live in the same house 

d. There are clearly marked building traffic flow signs to limit distancing challenges 

e. Hand sanitizer is available on your way in and out of building 

f. At the present time, masks are not required but If you would like a mask, they will be available for free.

g. Every person (child and adult) will have their temperature scanned  prior to entering the building 

h. Coffee bar is closed for the present time (hoping to offer free take-out coffee next week) 
 

 

#3. WHAT IF I HAVE FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS?

We really want to see you but are asking ...

a.  Send a note to our pastor so they can pray for you

b. Watch our HWC service on-line that week.... we will produce the best quality experience for you to enjoy 

c. Follow the advice of your health care professional 



#4. IF I’M A GUEST, WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

a.  Expect a welcoming no touch, socially distanced environment 

b.  FREE on-site guest parking at the rear of the building (off John St) For guests only 

c. You will be offered preferred seating (choose where you want to sit) 

d. Be prepared that one of our team will give you a special gift bag made just for you 
 

 

#5. WHERE CAN I PARK?

a. there is plenty of FREE street parking, available until 2pm 

and city garage parking
- unfortunately the parking garage directly across from the church is closed at this time 

b. If you have an official handicapped sticker you can Park behind the church off John street

c. If you need to drop off a senior adult or someone with physical challenges 
- drop off at front of the building or guest parking at the rear of the church
